Small steps.
Then wings.
Uod is Filipino for caterpillar. Uod starts your habit absurdly small and grows it one segment a day, until one day it changes shape.
How it works
Start tiny
Pick a step so small you can't fail: one push-up, one page, one minute. Uod won't let you start bigger.
Grow a segment a day
Each day you show up, your caterpillar grows. Miss a day and it rests. It never dies, and you don't lose your progress.
Metamorphosis
Once a habit holds for a few weeks, Uod suggests scaling it up and your caterpillar becomes a butterfly.
Built to be kind, not naggy
No broken streaks
Rest days are part of the design. Progress pauses instead of resetting to zero.
Gentle scaling
Uod suggests when to make a habit a little bigger, based on how consistently you've done it.
Your collection
Every habit that transforms becomes a butterfly in your garden, a visual record of what you've built.
One reminder
A single nudge at the time you choose. No badge spam, no guilt notifications.
Private by default
Your habits stay on your device. Accounts and sync are optional.
English and Filipino
Launching in both languages from day one.
About
Uod is an independent app being built in Manila, Philippines, by Ben Sarmiento, a software engineer.
Most habit apps run on streaks and guilt, so missing one day makes people give up on the whole habit. Uod is built on the opposite idea: steps small enough to always do, and progress that rests instead of breaking.
